GDOL to help Automation Personnel recruit workers in Rome on May 12

ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor will help Automation Personnel, a staffing company, fill about 20 jobs with two light industrial manufacturers in Adairsville and Calhoun.

The recruitment will be held Tuesday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the GDOL Rome Career Center, 462 Riverside Parkway.

The company is recruiting creelers and utility helpers, along with heat set and twister operators. Since the company provides on-the-job training, previous work experience is not necessary.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a valid form of identification and be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Salaries begin at $10 an hour.

The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
