The Southern Athletic Association has announced the Women’s Golfer of the Week for events played March 2-15. Following voting by the league head coaches, Berry’s Sydney Weaver captured the award off the heels of her medalist performance at the Jekyll Island Collegiate.
Weaver placed first at the Jekyll Island Collegiate by firing successive rounds of 78-76-74 for a total of 228 (+12) to win the prestigious event by two strokes.
The Vikings return to action at the UC Santa Cruz Spring Invitational on March 28.
