Mrs. Myrtice Mae Trimm

Mrs. Myrtice Mae Trimm, 89, of Rome, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Redmond Regional Hospital. Mrs. Trimm was born May 1, 1925 in Centre, Alabama, Mrs. Trimm was a homemaker and a member of West Rome United Methodist Church, where she attended the C J Raley Sunday School Class and was a member of the United Methodist Women.


Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lee Trimm of Gainesville, GA, and Steve K. Trimm and his wife Laura of Cedartown; sister, Kathleen Anderson and her husband Harvel of Centre, AL; brother, Ray Young and his wife Ellon of Alexandria, AL; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.


Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Mark McLendon officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:30 at Miller & Richards Oaknoll Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish may make donations to the West Rome United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 2247, Rome, Georgia 30164-2247 in memory of Mrs. Trimm. Mrs. Trimm was preceded in death by her husband, Wlter Lee, Trimm, a brother and a sister in law, Harwell A. and Jimmie Sue Young.


Mrs.Trimm was a daughter of the late Andrew Franklin Young and the late Beaulah Austin Young.
