CHEROKEE COUNTY TOURNAMENTS: Thursday games moved to Wednesday

CEDAR BLUFF – With the threat of rain in the forecast for Thursday afternoon, the Cherokee County Baseball and Softball Tournament games scheduled for Thursday have been moved to Wednesday, according to Cedar Bluff coaches Taylor Talbot and Mandy Walker.

The baseball tournament begins with Cherokee County taking on defending champion Sand Rock at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by Spring Garden and Cedar Bluff at 6 p.m.

The double-elimination softball tournament opens with Gaylesville taking on Cedar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by defending champion Cherokee County battling Spring Garden at 6 p.m.

Cedar Bluff is the host for both tournaments.
