The Berry College men’s golf team shot a final round of 297 and moved up to place 20th at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.
BC’s round was 6 strokes ahead of Saturday’s score. All 5 Vikings shot 78 or better on Sunday. Kile Williams finished tied for 37th with a 3-day tally of 223 (72-77-74), to lead the Vikings.
LaGrange carded a 285 on Sunday, the low round of the tournament, and finished with an 863–10 shots ahead of Illinois Wesleyan. Cory Howard of LaGrange shot a 68 on the final day and finished tied for first place (207) with Methodist’s Mason Stutler.
