SOFTBALL: Sand Rock outlasts Hokes Bluff 9-7

HOKES BLUFF – Kaitlyn Dodd, Brylie St. Clair and Courtney Williams each contributed a pair of hits, including a double apiece, to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 9-7 softball victory at Hokes Bluff on Monday.

St. Clair and Williams also scored two runs apiece for Sand Rock (3-2). Madison Allen and Madison McCullough both had a hit, scored a run and had two RBIs. Katelyn Hanson added a hit and scored a run.

Magen Rich recorded the win in the circle while Dodd earned the save. Rich tossed the first four innings, giving up four earned runs on four hits with four walks and a strikeout. Dodd finished out the game, surrendering just a hit and walk with a strikeout in the final three innings.
