The Vikings shot a season-low 285 and have a four-shot edge on Oglethorpe. McCloskey carded a 67. Both are in first place.
McCloskey’s five-under par score has him two shots ahead of teammate Ty Hampel of all individuals.
The second round of the 54-hole tournament is on Saturday at Old Fort Park.
