The Berry College women’s golf team shot a round one 329 and is in third place at the Southern Athletic Association Championships.
Rhodes College (313) leads the field. BC trails second place Centre by six strokes.
Sydney Weaver had a team-low 81 to lead the Vikings. Alex Hudson and Lauren Buschhorn both recorded 82s.
The second round of the 54-hole event is Saturday at Old Fort Park.
