The Latest Local News from the Cedartown Standard
Polk County Senior 4-H’ers attended the 2015 Statewide 4-H Senior Conference or “Rock Eagle Prom”, at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.
Over 300 other 4-H’ers from all over the state joined them April 11-12.
The event included classes on relationships, job interview etiquette, gentlemen etiquette, internet etiquette, leadership goals and swing dancing taught by UGA Performing Arts Instructors.
Other activities included a semi-formal/formal dance (dates were randomly selected), an outdoor after-dance party including inflatable obstacles and slides, snacks, and a lot of fun! A canned food drive was also conducted to collect items for local food banks.
