A Rome husband and wife remained in jail Thursday with no bond after being accused of having methamphetamine and drug related objects, according to jail reports.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Courtney Leigh Duncan, 43, and James Thomas Duncan, 43, both of 289 Old Dalton Road, were arrested Wednesday at 5:51 p.m. at their home when officers found a plastic bag in her purse containing a white crystal residue they suspected was methamphetamine. In a drawer next to the bed, officers found a loaded .22 caliber revolver and glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine inside.
Courtney Duncan was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects.
James Duncan was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug related objects.
