Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Criminal Investigators were dispatched to 11 Johnson Lane NE at Woodwright Industries in Cartersville, Ga. in reference to a unresponsive male subject laying in the parking lot later determined to be a homicide investigation.
According to Sheriff Clark Millsap:
A passing motorist reported to the Bartow County E911 early Tuesday, center a male subject was lying in the parking lot of Woodwright Industries and he was possibly bleeding.
Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have identified the deceased male as Robert Ashley Carr, 36, of White. Carr had several gunshot wounds and his body will be taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab to determine a cause of death.
The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-382-5050 ext. 6024.
