Rockmart Cultural Arts Center lists the following activities for this week.

Auditions will be held for “A Fairy Tale Ballet” at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4. The dance instructor is Julia Valenzuela. She can be reached at 404-308-8817.

Boys and girls ages 4 – 20 are invited to audition for various parts in the upcoming production of “A Fairy Tale Ballet”. Parts to fill include: a frog, singers, a king, stage hands, musicians, a queen, a lady bug, fairies, birds, a Godmother, clouds, bunnies, butterflies, ballerinas, stars, and flowers. No prior dance or acting experience is required.

Auditions will be held in the Upper Level of the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center located in the City of Rockmart Government Complex, 316 N. Piedmont Ave., Bldg. 300, Rockmart.

Art Classes

The deadline for the photography class is today, Wednesday, April 1.

“Photo Convo One” (Photography) will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Lightroom 5 Live” is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 p.m. for $75 with Carla Redding begins the next session of four Thursdays on April 2, 2015. Ages 16 and up.

Registrations must be received by April 1 at noon. Email rcac@rockmart-ga.gov for details of each class and to register.

Mosaic Tile Art with Jan Stone is offered every week in two-day workshops, morning and evening on Monday and Tuesday. Pre-registration is required. Please email for complete details and to register. rcac@rockmart-ga.gov

All classes offered: Dance (Ballet, Jazz, & Tap), Ballroom Dancing, Hip Hop, Drawing, Guitar, Lightroom 5 Live, Mosaic Tile Art, Advanced Mosaic Tile Art, Oil Painting, Paint Parties, Photo Convo One Photography, Piano, Portraits, Pottery, Voice, and Whittling.
